Submit a letter to the editor

The Daily News-Miner encourages readers to send a letter to the editor. Writers are limited to one letter every 30 days. Letters must contain no more than 350 words. The News-Miner does not publish letters copied to the editor, complaints about poor service from businesses, letters deemed libelous or in poor taste, or letters written primarily to advertise events or reference material. Letters from Outside are published only if they comment on Alaska issues and are from representatives of well-established organizations or from recent visitors to the state. Letters thanking sponsors, quality business service or emergency workers can be submitted to the "Applause" column in the Local section and published as space permits. The Daily News-Miner reserves the right to edit or reject letters.

To submit your letter to the editor, send an email to letters@newsminer.com.
